~Lets Go Noles!~

Most of you know that Scott and I went to Florida State and are huge Seminole fans!  We are determined to make Alyssa a big fan, too.  We had her doing the "Chop" by the time she turned one!!  Here's one of our favorite pictures of Alyssa!

~Watchin' the Blues~

While I was "home" last summer, I went to see the Blue Angels fly during their 4th of July show on Pensacola Beach.  My family went out on my parents' boat and met up with some friends and watched the show from the water.  I've seen the Blue Angels many, many times because their "home" base is NAS Pensacola.  Locals can watch them almost year round practicing for their upcoming shows in other cities and states.  As many times as I have seen them fly, they always amaze me!  Here are a few shots I took.

Beautiful.

I am from Milton, Florida (a teeny, tiny town outside of Pensacola). Milton is very close to the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen - sugary, white sand and emerald green waters.  When I was in high school and during summers in college, you'd find me on these beaches most days with my friends.  I miss it so much!

These pictures were taken on Navarre Beach, about a 30 minute drive from my parents' house.  I absolutely love the Gulf Coast and can't wait to move back there again!

Sweet Summertime!

I love summer!  It's my favorite season!  I love everything about it:   hot and sunny days, trips to the beach, playing outside with bubbles and sidewalk chalk and cookouts. As most of you know, I'm a teacher, so when summer approaches I get really excited because I don't have to work for 10 weeks, which means I get to spend extra quality time with my favorite girl!  Here are a few pictures from the start of our summer vacation.

Strawberry Festival

Over Memorial Day weekend my family, along with some friends went to the Strawberry Festival in Pungo.  It was so hot! We had a great time, though!  Here are a few pictures.
